A Continent – what does it mean?

03 December

That was the first of some new words you are going to learn this week about travel and geography and the first new word is a continent!

Some your answers were very close to the real meaning (Gemma, Confident) but watch this video and find out more about the word.

Look out tomorrow on the Facebook page to find out the next new word.

It is amazing!!! My Geography teacher said: “There are six continent: Eurasia, Africa, North America, South America, Australia and Antarctida”. Now I have known that there are different model, such as the seven-continent model, the six-continent model and five-continent model!!! I am amazed! It is very interesting. Thanks! With best wishes!
